Who can apply for a Student Leap Card?

1. Full time students of 2 or 3 level education as well as students who are having at least 16 hours of lectures/per week and a minimum of 6 months of the course duration per year.
2. Full time foreign students are also eligible if they fulfill the requirements above.
3. Students trainee Accountants of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland), CPA trainees, trainee Solicitors registered with the Law Society, full time SOLAS trainees/students and full time PLC are able to apply for the Student Leap Card.

Student Leap Card Application

Applications are available from all Express agents and Printerless agents. If you are applying for the new Student Leap Card, then please submit your application online. It’s very simple, just remember to get your Leap Card photo in advance. Also, please note that you will have to visit the Student Leap Card official agent to receive your card.

Note: upon card collection at one of our Express Agents, please bring your official college ID and €10 (only cash accepted).

Student Leap Card renewal

A new Student Leap Card is issued every September. Cards must be purchased before the existing Student Leap Card expires.
