To meet the requirements for a Czech passport photo, the photograph must be:
Czech passport photos have a standard size of 3.5 x 4.5 cm (width x height) and must show the head and upper part of the shoulders in a frontal view. The photo should be rectangular, measure 35 mm x 45 mm with straight or rounded corners, and be 0.13 to 0.27 mm thick.
A minimum distance of 2 mm must be maintained between the top edge of the head and the top edge of the photo, and the facial part of the head (distance from the eyes to the chin) must be at least 13 mm.
The background should be a neutral light color, and can be white to light blue, or a light grey color.
The lighting across the entire surface of the photo must be the same, without any reflective areas or shadows on the face. The photo must have natural contrast and brightness.The photo must be free of reflections and glare that could significantly alter the person's identifying traits, such as the shape and location of their facial features.
The photo must be printed on photographic paper with a high resolution of at least 250 DPI, and must be free of visible traces of ink and mechanical damage. The photo cannot be retouched, digitally processed, or modified in any way that alters the person's appearance or identifying traits, and must be a true representation of their current appearance.
The person must face the camera with a neutral expression, mouth closed, and eyes open, while avoiding covering their face with hair or glasses frames. Both eyes must be visible and directed toward the camera.
Glasses must not cause any glare or have colored or tinted lenses, and the frames must not cover any part of the eyes. Extremely thick frames should be avoided. Head coverings are not allowed except for religious reasons.
