Mongolia visa types

Requirements for Mongolia visa

The documents that you need to be aware of when applying for a Mongolia visa are as follows:

  • Mongolia visa form – It should be fully completed.
  • A valid passport
  • A passport size photograph
  • Evidence of accommodation
  • Flight ticket
  • Evidence of financial resources or bank statements
  • If you are travelling for purposes of business then you will need authorization from the Foreign Affairs Ministry
  • For employment or study purposes you will need authorization from the Agency of Immigration
  • For diplomatic purposes, you will need a request from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Mongolia visa validity

If you travel to Mongolia with a tourist visa then you can stay for up to 30 days, while for a transit visa the validity is only 10 days. Other types of visas will depend on your travel purposes and can be valid anywhere from 90 days to 1 year.
