Cheap passport photo prints in your area
Cheap isn’t always the best. So make sure you pick a provider that fulfills your needs (and meets all US passport photo requirements) by comparing the services offered by the outlets from the table.
CVS
No appointment is needed to get passport photos taken at CVS stores in your area. Simply drop by a pharmacy during regular business hours (usually between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm) and walk out with your passport photo prints in under an hour—unless you’re not the first in the line.
The pharmacy guarantees your pictures will meet all requirements mandated by the US State Department. If passport agents reject your pictures, proof of purchase will get you a full refund from CVS.

Walmart
With over 4,500 locations throughout the country, Walmart offers the cheapest passport photos on this list. Similarly to CVS, Walmart photo centers don’t require appointments, so an employee will snap your photos anytime between 9:00 am and 8:00 pm (depending on the store).
The branch also offers a 1-hour pickup service, where your passport photo prints can be collected within one hour of placing an order.

Walgreens/Duane Reade
Walgreens (including Duane Reade stores) is a popular spot for Americans looking for government-compliant 2x2 photos. It’s not necessarily the cheapest place to get passport photo prints ($16.99 a pair) unless you have a Walgreens photo center around the corner (thereby saving on external costs such as time and gas money).
Walgreens stores are usually open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm and welcome walk-ins.

AAA
Known for emergency road services, triple-A also offers passport photo services. You don’t need to book an appointment—simply visit an office in your area during regular business hours and ask an employee for assistance.
Note that triple-A won’t print your own digital photo. So, you’ll have to opt for the full service (photo-taking and printing). A set of AAA passport photos will cost you $10 (if you’re a member) or $15 (non-members).
FedEx
$14.95—that’s how much you’ll pay to have your photo snapped and printed at US FedEx locations.
If you’re in a rush or want to get everything done in one place, this option is worth looking into. FedEx works with RushMyPassport—a service that expedites all documents required for a passport application. So, you can take your photos and complete your application in one go.
Note that the expedited service comes with additional charges. Moreover, once your documents are presented to the Passport Agency, you’re not eligible to get a refund.
UPS
Over 5,000 UPS post offices in the US offer passport photo services, so chances are one may be in your area. If you choose to take and print your biometric photos with UPS, schedule an appointment through their website beforehand.

Sam’s Club
Taking passport photos in-store is no longer available at Sam’s Club. You can, however, use Passport Photo Online to get a 4x6’’ passport photo template, then print said template for $0.10 using Sam’s Club online photo service (with free delivery for Base Club members).

USPS
If you have 30 minutes to spare (and a USPS office nearby), this option may be for you. Getting two passport photos at the post office will cost you $15.00—acceptance guaranteed. USPS offices are open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on average.
Unfortunately, you’re not allowed to print passport photos you haven’t taken at USPS. So, if you already have a biometric picture you’d like to print—you’ll need to look elsewhere.
Note: USPS requires you to make an appointment via their website.

Staples
As stated on Staples’ website, you can get passport photos at any of their 900+ stores within 10 minutes. This price of $16.99 for two printed pictures is far from the cheapest, but the retailer claims their pictures are government-compliant.
There are no details on potential refunds in case your passport photo gets rejected.
